The goal of the Lenfest College Scholarship Program is to help promising students succeed by encouraging them to attend challenging academic colleges. The Foundation believes scholarship recipients will find that the college experience enriches them for a lifetime.
The program will provide college scholarships to students graduating from the Bermudian Springs, Conewago Valley, Fairfield and Upper Adams school districts in Adams County, the Octorara School District in Chester County, the Chambersburg Area, Fannett-Metal, Greencastle-Antrim, Tuscarora and Waynesboro Area school districts in Franklin County, the Pequea Valley School District in Lancaster County, the Upper Perkiomen School District in Montgomery County and the South Western and Spring Grove school districts in York County.
Students apply for scholarships during their junior year and all applicants must be willing to attend a challenging college or university. The program provides up to $12,000 a year for four
years toward the cost of attendance at an accredited U.S. private college and up to $7,500 a year for four years
toward the cost of attendance at an accredited U.S. public college.
Early selection of Lenfest College Scholars
will give the scholarship recipients more time to prepare for college and to achieve greater success in the
college admissions process. The Lenfest Foundation will provide counseling and assistance to Lenfest College
Scholars and their families during the college admissions process.
